I'm Kaylee, wife, boy mom, children's ministry director, writer, creator, and somebody who has learned that God can do alot with the seasons we never would have picked for ourselves.
Grace & Grit.life grew out of real life motherhood, marriage, ministry, leadership, laugher, loss, hard conversations, unexpected detours, and a year that quite literally sat me down long enough to pay attention.
I wish I could tell you I handled every part of it quietly and gracefully, but that wouldn't be truthful. But God was faithful through all of it.
He reminded me that slowing down is not the same thing as giving up. That standing firm does not require becoming hard. That obedience sometimes looks like moving forward and sometimes it looks like sitting still long enough to hear Him.
This space is where I share what He has taught me, what He has allowed me to create, and the stories I don't want to forget: faith, family, ministry, leadership, resources, writing, and the ordinary life happening in between.
I'm not here because I have life figured out. I'm here because God is good, His Word is true, and I have seen firsthand that grace will carry you... even with the road requires a little grit. Welcome to Grace & Grit.Life
Faith isn't something I want to keep tucked neatly inside a Sunday morning It shows up in motherhood, ministry, leadership, hard conversations, baseball bleachers, hospital rooms, ordinary Wednesdays, and the seasons we never saw coming. Grace & Grit.life is about living what we believe, not perfectly but faithfully.

Before every step, seek Him first. Prayer isn't the last resort it's the starting line. It's where direction is given and peace replaces pressure.
Stand firm in faith and stay rooted in truth, even when it's hard.
Stand for what's right when it would be easier to stay quiet.
Stand for truth when it isn't popular.
And when you can't see what God's doing, stand anyway, not because it's easy, but because He's WORTHY!

Serve with purpose and joy. In ministry, in family, in every space God places you, give your all, not for credit, but for Christ! Because true service isn't about what's seen; it's about a heart that obeys.

Motherhood, mentoring, and ministry. Lessons learned on and off the clock. Teaching isn't about having it all figured out; it's about showing up with what you know and letting God do the rest. Sundays, Wednesdays, and every ordinary day in between. Teach truth, live grace, and point hearts back to Him.

Lead with humility and heart. Lead beside your team, not above them. Build rhythms and structure that leave room for grace, because order makes space for peace. Leadership isn't about position, it's about obedience.

Stories, testimonies, and reflections from the middle. Because growth happens when we tell what He's done. Share the messy parts, the miracle moments, and the lessons He's still teaching. When we share our stories, we remind others and ourselves that God's still writing something good!

Praise through the quiet mornings, the long days, and the unexpected turns. Because worship isn't just a song... it's a response. In every season, every story, and every breath... He's still worthy!
